Antique Roly Poly Clown

You may know them from your youth. This is an XL variant and made of paper mache. This one is also a bit older from 1920. Albert Frederick Schoenhut was a German immigrant who made wooden toy pianos in Philadelphia. Schoenhut branched out into dolls and other toys. Here is a musical roly-poly clown, still bright and colorful.This is an antique paper mache toy, makes a musical sound when moved. Considering its age, the materials used and the fact that it was made to entertain small children, makes it a rare piece. see photos for condition
